The Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations would like to inform individuals who intend to pursue studies at any international, regional or local institution, that before enrolling in an institution, the individual should seek advice on the status of accredition of the institution of choice.

Accreditation is important because it: helps determine if an institution meets or exceeds minimum standards of quality; helps students determine acceptable institutions for enrollment; and

assists institutions in determining acceptability of transfer credits.
