Food Center - Sales Representative (Van sales division)
Vacancy - Sales Representative (Van sales division)
Primary Objectives: Must plan and execute a sales and delivery system that fully meets the requirements of customers within an assigned zone. Must maintain and increase customer base and ensure company’s product is readily available to customers. Must ensure customer accounts are serviced regularly and their stock is always maintained at optimal levels. Monitoring and reporting trade activity is important and must be done in a timely manner. Must be integrally involved in all promotional activity for company’s products as and when required.
Qualifications: Tertiary level education which includes business courses, plus two years’ experience in either Sales, Merchandising or Trade Marketing.
Summary of Major Duties:
1. Achievement of sales and distribution targets
a. Consistently achieve sales and distribution targets.
b. Ensure complete coverage of zone.
c. Monitor and maintain customers’ stock levels.
d. Ensure products are effectively displayed.
e. Perform daily sales reconciliation.
2. Maintain and increase re seller base
a. Develop complete customer listing
b. Update customer list as required
c. Ensure consistent service and product satisfaction
d. Facilitate customers’ issues when required and seek manager’s assistance as deemed necessary.
3. Communicate trade information in a timely manner.
a. Inform manager of difficulties or issues being experienced.
b. Inform manager of changes in customers’ sales patterns and reasons for change.
c. Inform management of any changes in key personnel and/or system in the trade.
4. Participate in promotional activities that would enhance distribution
a. Inform customers of upcoming promotions within a reasonable time frame.
b. Ensure proper set up and display of promotional material.
c. Solicit customer feedback on past promotions
5. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Manager
