Entertainment Manager Accountable for managing the resort’s entertainment, a signature offering of the Sandals brand. The successful candidate should exceed guest expectations by ensuring the presentation of vibrant, diverse, adult -interactive entertainment offerings, utilizing internal and external talent. Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:
Passionately markets the activities of the department and sees to creation of ‘eye catching’ material to promote events, build guest awareness and stir interest.
Plays a critical role in organizing special events at the hotel, including staff parties, birthday events, monthly staff awards, bon voyage parties etc. Plays a lead or coordinating role in standard company-mandated activities such as ReunionWeek, Annual Prestige Awards, Fun Days and Manager’s Cocktail Parties etc.
Protects entertainment integrity through high-value productions and professional entertainment standards, bearing in mind the sophisticated and international nature of the audience.
Develops department’s operational plan and budget, including staffing guide and capital requirements.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts or Entertainment.
Three (3) years’ progressive management experience or two (2) years’ experience in the Hospitality or Entertainment industry.
Practical exposure to recreational in-door/out-door games/activities. If successful, a clean police record will be required.
