Luxury Wellness Resort in St Lucia to Undergo Major Renovations

CASTRIES, St Lucia, Saturday June 2, 2018 – BodyHoliday St Lucia, a world-leading health and wellness resort, has announced a nearly $20 million renovation –just in time for the property’s 30th anniversary.

As part of the multi-million-dollar plan, the resort will transform its guestrooms, six restaurants, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Doors will close on July 1 for renovations and will reopen on August 26, with the launch of the long-awaited BodyHoliday Guest App that is designed to further enhance guests’ ability to personalize their vacations.

A total of 76 Luxury Ocean View rooms will receive a full makeover, including dedicated single rooms and twin bedrooms, all boasting luxurious queen-size beds.

BodyHoliday will also be introducing two new villas – Villa Lara and Villa Calypso.

Following the refurbishment of the 33 treatment rooms in 2017, the resort’s Wellness Centre will undergo further updates, including the changing facilities.

With regards to the resort’s food and beverage offerings, TAO, the Asian-fusion fine-dining restaurant, will be fully renovated with a brand-new look, introducing a more modern feel. The renovation will mark the introduction of an extended organic menu. The renovations will include a brand-new entrance and a newly installed outdoor deck. During the day, the new deck will host lectures on a variety of wellness subjects.

In addition, the deli, open throughout the day for lunch and snacks, will introduce a new sushi counter, offering the freshest fish selection from around the island.
