(Media Release) Youth Expose, today

by NYC
THE PROGRAM IS BROKEN DOWN INTO THREE MAJOR SEGMENTS: AN OPENING CEREMONY, AN ARTS EXHIBITION, AND A GRAND CLOSING CONCERT.

As part of Saint Lucia’s 39th Independence celebrations under the theme “I Am Saint Lucia”, the Saint Lucia National Youth Council (NYC) will be hosting the annual Youth Exposé.

And to celebrate another milestone, the NYC in collaboration with Events Saint Lucia, has designed an event centered on the development and progress of young people in various fields.

Youth Exposé 2018 will showcase talent from photographers, culinary and visual artists, entrepreneurs and other forms of artistic expression.

The day’s program will commence with a formal opening ceremony with the presence of government officials, leaders of the corporate community, the media and general public, and then move along into lunchtime entertainment coordinated by young singers and dancers from various primary schools, leading up to the main feature.

The early afternoon segment will create a platform for artists such as “Mind of Xavier” portraying self-designed clothing; body art by Jamal Bruce; live natural product demonstrations by “She Naturals” coordinated by Abegail Sandy; and visual art presentations by Sa Key Productions headed by Naja Simeon.

Youth Exposé will then culminate in a live concert from 4 – 6 p.m. featuring entertainment and performances by the Delcer and Mongouge Combined Schools, Arthur Allain, Dynamics Band, Omega, and the Sir Arthur String Quartet.

The much-anticipated event is being held at Constitution Park in the William Peter Boulevard on Wednesday, Feb 21, from 10 a.m.

The NYC anticipates an exciting and extraordinary evening as it brings the curtains down on another Youth Exposé!
