Quality Assurance (QA) Technician
Department: Plant
Blue Waters St. Lucia Ltd. is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Quality Assurance (QA) Technician within our Plant Department. The successful candidate will support quality control processes to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Perform basic laboratory testing (physical, chemical, and/or microbiological)
• Maintain accurate quality records and reports
• Identify and report quality deviations and support corrective actions
• Support internal audits and ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
Qualifications & Experience
• Associate Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or beverage production environment
• Experience in water treatment and/or water quality systems will be a distinct asset
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems and food safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
